police-on suspectsThe Ogun State Police Command has rescued 26 children from three suspected human traffickers at Ibafo area of Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of the state.

The three traffickers, alongside 26 innocent under-aged children were paraded at the state headquarters of the Police Command in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The State Commissioner of Police, Abdulmajid Ali, said that the children, who were rescued at Ibafo, were taken from Kano State.

The CP said that investigations were being carried out by the command to ascertain the motives for which the children were brought to the southwest, especially at a time when children are being used as suicide bombers by the Boko Haram members.
