Okorocha Urges Igbos To Join APC, Targets One million

OkorochaThe Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has sworn-in 13 commissioners, 26 new transition committee chairmen for various Local Government Areas and a Chief Economic Adviser to the state government.

At the event which took place at the Nicks Banquet Hall in Owerri the Imo state capital, the Governor charged the new appointees to consolidate on the successes recorded by his administration in the last four years.

He asked them to ensure they work together with a vision and mission to make Imo State better, as well as deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state.

Governor Okorocha advised the new cabinet members to take into consideration the dwindling state of the nation’s economy which has reduced the federal allocation and look inwards to find new means of creating wealth in the state and help boost the internally generated revenue in the state.
