APGA-2The members of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) on Saturday celebrated the January 15 Supreme Court Judgment which affirmed the authenticity of the present leadership of the party both at the national and in the state.

Awka, the capital city of Anambra state came alive, with pomp and excitement, as the leadership and members of the ruling APGA celebrate.

The ceremony began at the state Secretariat of the party in Awka.

It was a display of excitement by the people, with the National Chairman of the party, Mr Victor Oye, announcing the supremacy of APGA as a political party that would overtake every other party considering its clean bill of sanity.

At the Governor’s Lodge in Amawbia, Governor Willie Obiano also addressed the victory train, who stormed the premises, with victory dance, assuring them that the issue of faction had finally been buried in APGA, with unity enthroned.

The party anthem was rendered with all sense of loyalty and dignity and then the handover of a copy of the Supreme Court judgment by the National Chairman to the Governor who thereafter lifted the hearts of the party faithful with words of encouragement, urging them to stand tall as a new dawn had broken in APGA.

The achievement of no faction in APGA by the January 15 Supreme Court’s judgment is a strong statement for the party to rise and grow stronger and with its weapon of unity conquer any opposing force of other political parties that are yet to experience unity in their fold especially in the next election in 2018.
