The Minister for Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has called for cordial relationship between the Legislators and the Executive Arms of government.

He urged for accountability and transparency by the Executive which has been identified as the key to successful governance.

The Minister in his address at the strategic retreat for members of the Executive Council in Plateau State, stated that the commissioners and principal officers should develop a cordial relationship with the legislatures in order to avoid unnecessary rivalry that might affect governance in the state.

However, the Governor of the state, Governor Simon Lalong identified team spirit, financial prudence and discipline among others as key elements to drive the government policies.

The Commissioner for Energy and Water Resources, David Wuyep, believes that power generation, distribution and transmission should be a shared responsibility between the states and the federal government.
