The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, is calling for a revamp of Nigeria’s Security Architecture in other to improve security.
He also said there was urgent need for the government to address the problem of Almajiri in the north which he referred to as a source of worry to the nation.
The Monarch made the appeal in Abuja while addressing members of the Course 24, of the National Defense College on “the Implications of Traditional and Religious Institutions in National Security”.
As a solution to overcoming security challenges, the monarch called for urgent attention to the Almajiri problem in the north as well as revamping of the Nigeria’s Security Architecture .

According to him, youths whose future are uncertain and disillusioned by the state always find justification for their rebellion.
