The Police in Delta State over the weekend paraded those suspected to be behind the kidnap and murder of the traditional ruler of Ubulu-Uku, Delta State, His Royal Majesty Obi Akaezi Ofulue III.
Addressing the conference, the state Commissioner of Police, Alkali Baba-Usman, said that about six persons have so far been arrested including a female teenager.
Obi Akaeze Ofulue the III, was held for about two weeks by his abductors before his body was found in the thick bush of Umunede, Ika Local Government Area.
On January 5, 2016, it was reported that the Obi of Ubulu-Uku, was kidnapped while riding with a friend.
Days later, villagers told the Police, they had located the Obi’s SUV, abandoned along the road side.
On January 20 precisely, the body of the Obi was found, sending anger and sorrow waves across the kingdom.
