Plateau Security: Police Rescue Kidnapped Children
Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Adekunle Oladunjoye, stated that the Command’s efforts through intensive patrols, raids, intelligence led policing and community partnership contributed in checkmating the criminal elements in the state.
The Police Commissioner, however, explained the rescue of a three year-old boy sent on an errand by the mother, but kidnapped in Jos, the capital of Plateau State and was taken to Bauchi before he was rescued by the police.
Another new born baby was also abducted within the Jos metropolis.
The Police boss also alerted the public to be aware of counterfeit currency of different denominations which are in circulation.
As security agents continue to wage the war against crime and criminal elements, the public is expected to play a complimentary role by assisting in providing useful information where crimes are committed.
