The Charge D’affairs at the United States of American Embassy, Maria Brewer, has advised women groups in the country to think of ways of alleviating the sufferings of women and young girls who have become victims of terrorism.
Speaking at a session organised by the Embassy in Abuja, Brewer said the activities of Boko Haram has left many of the women economically disadvantaged and several others psychologically affected.
She said that the sad incident calls for the participation of all in seeking a better life for those affected by the insurgency.
