Osun doctorsActivities are beginning to pick up at all the government hospitals in Osun State following the suspension of the over 6 months strike by doctors.

A visit by Channels Television to the state university teaching hospital Asubiaro in Osogbo, the state capital showed that doctors were back to their desks attending to patients.

The doctors, under the aegis of Osun State Association of Medical and Dental Officers (OSAMDO) said that the decision to suspend the strike was because of the people.

The doctors had been on strike to protest the non-payment of their salaries and other emoluments for over four months.

Several protests had been held as the doctors tried to press home their demands.
