Arase Appoints New Police Commissioner For Kaduna State

The Inspector General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase has appointed Mr Adamu Ibrahim as the new Commissioner of Police Kaduna State Command.

Ibrahim replaces Mr Umar Shehu who has been transfered to force headquarters, Abuja.

In a press release issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Zubairu Abubakar, says that the new commissioner enlisted into the Nigerian Police Force in 1986, and was a one time deputy force secretary, commissioner of police in Abia state.

Before his posting to Kaduna, he was the commissioner of Police Administration, Department of Operations, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

The new commissioner, who took over from his predecessor on Friday, holds a masters degree in Law and Criminal Justice from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
