KadunaThe Kaduna State government has donated 51 patrol motor bikes to the various security agencies in the state to fight crime.

The patrol motor bikes were shared out to the police, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigerian Army and Air Force among others.

While distributing the motor bikes at the Government House in Kaduna, Governor Nasir El-Rufai said the gesture was part of government’s contribution and effort in the fight against crime across the state.

He pledged his administration’s full support to security agencies in ensuring  law and order in the state,  stating that the motorbikes would go a long way in enhancing the operations of the security agencies in the state.

While thanking the state government on behalf of other security agencies, Kaduna  State Commissioner of Police, Adamu Ibrahim,  said that the benefiting security agencies had been re-energised to do their jobs and that they would not relent in maintaining law and order in the state.

He said that kidnapping and other related crimes had reduced as a result of the intensified operations of security agencies.

He also warns criminals to leave the state, as the command is ready to deal with anyone or group that try to break down law and order in the state, while appealing to residents to collaborate with security agencies in the fight against crime in the state.
