The Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, has deployed two Police helicopters for the search of former Minister of State for Education, Senator Iyabo Anisulowo, who was kidnapped by some armed men in Ogun State.
A statement issued by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, says the choppers have been patrolling suspected kidnappers’ hideouts within the state with search parties.
The state police command is assuring everyone that the kidnapped former senator will soon be rescued unhurt and the culprits apprehended.
The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun and the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone II, Bala Hazzan, had earlier assured Nigerians and residents of Ogun State of the safe rescue of Senator Iyabo Anisulowo.
