National Assembly Postpones Resumption

The National Assembly in Nigeria has postponed the planned resumption of plenary scheduled for Thursday to Tuesday, May 17.

The Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly, Mr Benedict Efeturi, gave the new date in a Statement on Wednesday.

Both he Senate and the House of Representatives on May 5, suspended plenary to allow federal lawmakers from the Peoples Democratic Party attend the party’s congress.
