Police, Adamawa, new ranksFourteen Policemen serving with the Adamawa State Command have been promoted by the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase.

One Superintendent of Police was promoted to Chief Superintendent of Police, one Deputy Superintendent of Police to Superintendent of Police, 13 Assistant Superintendents of Police to Deputy Superintendents of Police.

Four Assistant Traffic Wardens were also promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Traffic I.

The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, Ghazzali Mohammed, decorated the newly promoted police officers as they took their turns.

He reminded the officers that promotion comes with responsibility and that they should seize the opportunity of their promotion to be better policemen.

He also gave reason for their promotion.

A representative of the newly promoted Police officers, Chief Superintendent of Police, David Onwughai, while giving the vote of thanks appreciated the Inspector General of Police for the honour, promising not to disappoint the Police force.
