The South-south zone of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has held a solidarity rally for party candidates in the 2016 Edo State governorship election.
The APC convened its members on Friday at the banquet hall of the Government House in Benin City, the Edo State’s capital in south-south Nigeria.
The National Vice Chairman of the party, Hilliard Etta, explained that the forum was to forge an even stronger bond among party faithful in preparations for the primaries.
In his address, the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, stated that the achievements in the past eight years would speak for the APC when the campaigns properly kick off.
