The federal government has saved over 185 billion Naira from the implementation of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System following the weeding out of 65,000 ghost workers.
According to the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, about 23,000 workers who were collecting multiple salaries were also discovered by the efficiency unit.
The bureau also revealed that government losses about 10 billion dollars annually as result of fraudulent procurement practices.
