He said that the projects were in line with the vision of the Federal Government to overcome Nigeria’s economic challenges made critical by the drop in crude oil price.

The made the statement while on a working tour to the Western Senatorial District of the state to identify unexploited ventures in the area.

He began with a visit to the special school in Gudi village that is under construction to see the pace and quality of work.

The Governor then moved to the Bokoko Bridge which is also under construction in Agwada Development Area of the state.

He visited the abandoned modern abattoir at Keffe, and promised to put it into use as soon as possible.

The Governor also visited the abandoned special school at Keffi Local Government Area and expressed disappointment at the level and quality of work. He quickly withdrew the contract.

Governor Al-Makura said he believes the step would improve the state’s internally generated revenue and would encourage investors to troop into the state.

In the past few weeks, Al-Makura has been touring facilities across the state to see the pace of work and to see activities going on there.
