A self-acclaimed pastor of a new generation church in Oshodi area of Lagos state has been arrested over allegations of abduction and defilement of underage girls.
Channels Television visited Shogunle community, where the Tongues Of Fire Restoration Ministries, the Church Pastor Chukwuemeka Nkwocha oversees.
One of the victims, while in tears, explained to Channels Television’s correspondent that the pastor asked her to sleep with him, and promised to pay her school fees if she did.
Pastor Chukwuemeka Nkwocha in defence, said that one of the alleged victims was his fiancée to whom he was hoping to get married.
Nevertheless, the Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owosheni, has assured the parents of the girls that the suspect would be charged after investigations.
