The Grand Officer Commanding, 2 Division of the Nigerian Army, Maj. Gen. Abdulkarim Kasimu, has again stressed the need for greater collaboration through renewed commitment and sense of camaraderie between the Army and all security agencies in the country to enhance effectiveness and promote trust.

Maj. Gen. Kasimu made this call after an inter-agency physical fitness walk round some streets in Ibadan ,Oyo State capital.

The GOC told journalists after the event that the exercise would be encouraged as a regular drill to give room for more robust interactions between all security agencies and boost confidence in the people.

The early morning walk which took off at Letmuck Barracks , Mokola, Ibadan was well attended by all security chiefs in the state who were seen cheering their men on and encouraging them.

The exercise was at the instance of the Army and was aimed at improving physical fitness and promote inter-agency interactions among participants.
