Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, on Thursday called for the promotion of the African cultural heritage.
The Governor says a smooth blend of religion, culture and tradition is a way of enhancing peaceful coexistence and national development.
He made the call during the celebration of an annual festival in Ijebu-Ode, Ojude Oba, in Ogun State, southwest Nigeria.
Among the dignitaries at the event are the governors of Bayelsa State, Mr Seriake Dickson and his Kaduna State counterpart, Mr Nasir El-Rufai.
