Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State are in war of words as to who was responsible for the burning down of the home of former majority leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Chidi Lloyd.
The country home of the former lawmaker in Akpabu Community in Emohua Local Government Area was completely razed down by unknown gunmen, with property worth millions of Naira destroyed.
The State Police Command, which confirmed the incident, said investigations were going.
This comes as the attempted murder case brought against Chidi Lloyd from the crisis that rocked the Rivers State House of Assembly in 2013 has been revisited by the new administration in the state.
