Ayade, Cross River, Supreme CourtThe Cross River State, Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Asu Okang, has urged youths across the state to remain calm following purported plot to remove Mr Ben Ayade as Governor of the State through the Supreme Court.

According to the Commissioner while addressing a section of youths across the state who paid him a visit at his office, the court has the final verdict urging them to be positive about the verdict.

The Commissioner, who urged the youths to stay out of trouble, expressed hope that the Supreme Court judgement would be in favour of the Governor.

A PDP governorship aspirant in the governorship election, Bar. Joe Agi had approached the apex court to nullify the March 28, 2015 governorship election that produced Ayade over an  alleged age falsification.

Hearing has been fixed for December 9.
