US presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has come under fire once again for obscene comments he made about women in a newly released videotape from 2005.
In the video, Mr Trump said “You can do anything” to women “when you’re a star”.
He, however, apologised for the offensive comments, stressing that the words do not reflect who he was.
“These words don’t reflect who I am… I apologise,” BBC quoted Trump on Saturday.
A Better Man
“I’ve said and done things I regret (and) anyone who knows me knows these words don’t reflect who I am.
“I said it, I was wrong, and I apologise.
“I’ve never said I’m a perfect person nor pretended to be someone I’m not.
“I pledge to be a better man tomorrow,” he added.
Top republicans have condemned the comments while his democratic rival Hillary Clinton called them “horrific”.
This is horrific. We cannot allow this man to become president. https://t.co/RwhW7yeFI2

However, Mr Trump tried to deflect the impact by attacking former President Bill Clinton.
