Nollywood Director, Seyi Babatope, has hosted a star-studded premiere of his new movie, ‘When Love Happens Again’ in Lagos.

The movie is sequel to the 2014 romantic comedy, ‘When Love Happens’.

The Prequel, When Love Happens, ended on a romantic note as one of the characters, Motunranti found love with Tobe.

However, the sequel comes with a new twist where the character of Eyinaya, who made a cameo appearance in the prequel, comes out in a different light.

He plays the role of a loyal friend to Tobe, while suggesting that his love, Motunranti, may not be romantically drawn towards him anymore.

Enyinna who acted as himself in the movie, said that he could not wait to see how much of himself plays out in the character.

Director, Babatope said that he had envisioned a sequel right from the first film and although it was not easy getting majority of the actors back for the sequel, it was an interesting process altogether.

Many fast-rising Nollywood actors such as Kiki Omeili, among others, who showed up for the event, commended Babatope’s efforts for being able to pull off the sequel after a highly impressive work on the prequel.

Another actor, Tope Tedela, also said that he saw a possibility of a sequel and anticipates it in excitement.
