Nasarawa Politics Will Soon Change – Al-makuraThe Nasarawa state Governor, Mr Tanko Al-makura, has expressed optimism that politics in the state will take a new dimension.

He shared this view when he received the Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Godiya Akwashiki, who recently decamped to the APC from the PDP at the government house in Lafia.

“You will very soon notice serenity, decorum, peace, in the activities of politics in Nasarawa state” he said.

He says political positions in Nasarawa state are not for sale but for people with integrity.

The Deputy Speaker who spoke to journalists after the meeting with the Governor, said that he would be loyal to the party both at local and federal levels.

The Secretary of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the state was also among the decampees.
