Oritse Femi,

oritsefemiNigerian singer, Oritsefemi, was allegedly assaulted by several bouncers at the Quilox club, over the weekend as viral videos of the singer being thrown out of the club began to trend on social media.

The assault was said to have been prompted by the singer’s attack on a bouncer, who restricted some A-list artistes from gaining entry into the VIP section.

A statement released by MSN gang, the label to which the singer is signed, noted that he slapped a bouncer with a wine cup he was holding, only after being shoved while protesting an unjust treatment to fellow singer, Sound Sultan.

Sound Sultan has, however, denied being involved in the scuffle, noting via social media that he was in the VIP section of his “cousin’s club”.

Club Quilox has also issued a statement in the aftermath of the brawl.

The statement by its PR and Marketing Manager, Jessica Ulo Oputa, refuted Oritsefemi’s claim that his jewellery was stolen by the club’s bouncers.

To back their claim, Quilox also attached graphic pictures and a video of the bouncer the musician assaulted.
