The Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, has felicitated with the former president, Goodluck Jonathan on the occasion of his 59th birthday.
The governor described the former president as a colossus in the nation’s democratic experience.
In a statement the Commissioner of Information, Austin Tam-George, Gov. Wike commended the contributions of the former president to the consolidation of the nation’s democratic values is now widely accepted across the globe.
“Goodluck Jonathan will continue to be a source of pride and inspiration to Nigerians and other Africans, as his democratic legacy stands in sharp contrast to the darker forces of impunity”
Governor Wike wished the former president many more years of service to the course of democracy in Nigeria and across the world.
