Efforts by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to emerge victorious in the Ondo state governorship election got a boost as committee of friends converged to give him financial support.
A fundraising event held at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos and was attended by Akeredolu’s friends and associates across the country.
Chairman of the occasion, Akin Aruwajoye, who declared the event open, described Akeredolu as the best man for the job.
Aruwajoye said that even with no godfather, Akeredolu’s project was a divine work which has been completed by God.
One after the other, notable personalities at the event mounted the podium to give endorsement speech for Akeredolu.
Fund, rolling into millions of naira was raised for the APC candidate to help in his quest to become the governor of Ondo state.
