Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has sent a warm message of felicitation to the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on his 70th birthday, on November 25, 2016.

Governor Wike praised Alhaji Abubakar for his political resilience, business acumen, and his generosity of spirit.

He described the former Vice President as a Nigerian patriot, whose multi-dimensional career spanning over five decades, has been marked with success at every turn.

“Like old wine, Atiku Abubakar’s political potency and business success have
only increased with age. His boundless philanthropy has touched the lives of many people across the country”, Wike stated.

Reflecting on his public life, the governor also highlighted that Atiku’s “hard-won wisdom and exemplary leadership, has earned him the respect of people across the political spectrum in the country.”

He then wished him many more years of service to the country.
