The Edo state governorship election tribunal sitting in Benin City, the state capital has adjourned till December 7, to commence hearing on the separate applications by counsel to the petitioners and respondents in the case.
Meanwhile, the tribunal has ordered the petitioners to file their application and serve the respondents by Saturday, December 3, while the respondents are also expected to respond by Monday, December 5.
The petitioners are Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) while the respondents include the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Mr. Godwin Obaseki.
