Seriake Dickson, Bayelsa ResidentsThe Governor of Bayelsa State, Mr Seriake Dickson, has inaugurated a five-member Due Process Bureau, with a call on them to exhibit a high level of dedication, diligence and integrity in their assignment.

Mr Dickson, who inaugurated the Bureau Board at the Government House in Yenagoa on Wednesday, noted that the job of members was a sensitive one that would keep them very busy.

He stated that every authorised government procurement would pass through the Bureau, adding that, quantities and surveys must be reasonable.

The Governor expects the state to have value for money, since the government expects every price to be fair, reasonable and competitive.

“Your job is sensitive and I expect members to exhibit a high level of diligence, dedication and integrity. The state expects to have value for money and every price to be fair, reasonable and competitive,” he told the members of the Bureau.

Responding on behalf of the other Directors of the Bureau, the Director-General, Mr Amaebi Ikipitibor, expressed gratitude to the Governor for finding them worthy to serve and to be part of the restoration government.

Other directors of the bureau are Surveyor Benedict Suoyou, Engineer Wilson Aggrey, Mr Benjamin Ogbara and Architect Stella Raine.
