Group Insists On Going Ahead With Anti-Government Protest

There is so much uncertainty in the air as to whether the anti-government protest called by popular artist, Tu-face Idibia, will still hold.

Although he had suspended the action, a timetable released last night by a group #I Stand With Nigeria, indicates that the protest may still go on in major cities such as Abuja, Lagos and Akwa Ibom.

The group said it is mobilising people in Osogbo, the Osun state capital, Akure in Ondo and Port Harcourt in Rivers state among others.

Also, the Bring Back Our Girls group appears to be joining the protest.

An SMS sent to Channels Television by the co-convener of the group, Mrs Aisha Yusuf, explained that members would congregate at the unity fountain for what was described as a peaceful march against the authorities at all level of government.
