Mother Of Abducted Chibok Girl Narrates PainThree years after the abduction of her daughter, Esther Yakubu has been speaking of the pain she has had to bear over the period.

Mrs Yakubu who seemed to be the face of the Chibok mothers on Friday, confronted the Police as she marched alongside another Chibok mother, demanding that they be given access to the Presidential Villa.

She told Channels Television that the anguish she felt with the disappearance of her daughter has not reduced.

“For you not to be together with your child at least for three years is not easy, but for the grace of God we have 24. We say thank you, but we want them to put more effort to ensure the rescue of others so that we can rejoice altogether.

“It is not easy for a child to go for education and just disappear in her final year; I think about her always, day and night, every second. If not because of this, I don’t think I will be separated from my kid for so long like this,” she said.

Yakubu also lamented that the abduction of her child has affected the younger siblings, saying their education standard has dropped.

“When we were there in Chibok, her younger siblings are always in first position. But as for now, their education barrier is back because they are afraid of being taken away from their school.

“Whether they are in Chibok or not, they do not feel at home because they fear someone will come and pick them from school anytime,” she added.
