Barry Gibb, the last remaining member of the Bee Gees, has been looking back on the group’s career, their biggest hits, their friendship with Michael Jackson and his encounters with UFOs.

2017 is a big year for Barry and his late brothers, Maurice and Robin, one of music’s most legendary and acclaimed groups, as it marks the 40th anniversary of “Saturday Night Fever,” the film they provided the soundtrack for which won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year and was inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame in 2004.

This year has also seen the new career-spanning collection of top hits by the group, entitled The Bee Gees’ Timeless: The All-Time Greatest Hits. The album features 21 tracks personally selected by Bee Gees co-founder Barry and sequenced in chronological order.

Capitol Records has also reissued the remastered Saturday Night Fever soundtrack on double LP vinyl in a gatefold jacket with replicated original artwork.
