Manchester Attack: Police Hunt ‘Network’ Behind Bomber

Police in Manchester say their investigations have been extended to a so-called ‘network’ behind the Monday attack at Manchester Arena, where 22 people were killed.

Though police believe the suicide bomber, 22 year old Salman Abedi worked alone, home secretary, Amber Rudd said the attack was more sophisticated than some of the others seen before.

So far, a fifth man has been arrested in the UK.

Meanwhile, the New York Times has revealed photos which it says were gathered by UK authorities at the scene of the attack, including the remnants of a backpack, nuts and screws, and a device identified as a “possible detonator”.
