African Church Central Primary School from Ogun State have become the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of the Channels International Kids Cup.

AC Central defeated Edo State representatives, Paragon Demonstration school 2-1 courtesy goals from Bankole Toyosi and Owoseni Roqeeb.

Daniel Osagumwenro scored what turned out to be a consolation for Paragon.

Also through to the last-four are XPlanter private school from Ikorodu, Lagos after they beat Ghanaian school, Abeka 4 Basic by three goals to one.

In another clash, Burhanudeen LGEA primary school from Kwara also progressed with a resounding 4-0 win over Community Primary School from Imo State.

Completing the semi-final line up are the lads from Mowoe Primary School, Delta as they beat LGEA Jafaaru Primary School from Kaduna 4-3 on penalties after playing 1-1 in regulation time.
