New Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde on Wednesday arrived at the Camp Nou after jetting in to replace Luis Enrique.
The 53-year-old, who left his role as Athletic Bilbao’s boss last week, was confirmed as Barcelona’s new manager on a two-year deal on Monday.
Valverde will sign his contract which has the option of an extra season on Thursday morning, before being officially unveiled as the club’s new manager.
He has Jon Aspiazu as his assistant, while Jose Antonio Pozanco will be the fitness coach.
