An explosion caused by a gas canister in the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou killed at least two people and injured 55 on Friday, state media reported.
The explosion occurred at around 8:40 AM local time (0040 GMT), state media reported, while local media said 12 of the 55 injured are in serious condition.
State broadcaster CCTV showed surveillance camera footage of the moment the explosion occurred.
Charred cars and a public bus could be seen just beside the restaurant where the explosion occurred.
CCTV said that the fire is now “under control” and that local authorities are investigating the exact cause of the explosion.
