It has been a horrific time for commuters traveling along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway outbound Mowe-Ibafo, with many spending close to four hours between Berger and Redemption Camp.
The gridlock is believed to have been caused by an accident along the axis.
Vehicles coming into Lagos are said to be affected as the axis is one of the busiest in Nigeria, where thousands of private and commercial vehicles ply daily.
