The Boko Haram insurgents have killed seven people in Mildo community, the Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa.
Reports say the assailants sneaked into the town on Tuesday night through Chakawa village, killing and burning houses.
According to the Commissioner for Information, Ahmed Sajoh, seven men were killed including a Boko Haram member.
Two women who got injured are presently receiving medical attention.
Madagali is part of the territory annexed by Boko Haram in 2014 before its subsequent liberation by Nigerian soldiers in 2015.
