The Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC) and the Bank of Agriculture (BOA), have inaugurated a technical steering committee, aimed at facilitating bilateral agreement on agriculture between Nigeria and Morocco.
This was disclosed by the Managing Director of the NAIC, Mrs Folashade Joseph in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The agency’s boss urged Nigerian farmers to accept climate smart agriculture in the face of unpredictable weather conditions, through agricultural risk management.
Also the Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture, Mr Kabiru Adamu stressed the need for strategic steps to be taken to ensure optimum productivity in agriculture.
