The League Management Company (LMC) has confirmed the arrest of three suspects in connection with the assault of match officials in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) game between Wikki Tourists and Rangers in Bauchi.
The suspects have been charged to court for attacking match officials during the match on Sunday.
Those arrested by the Nigerian Police Force are 35-year-old Mohammed Isa, 30-year-old Hamisu Mohammed, and 24-year-old Yola Ishaya.
LMC says the management of Wikki Tourists is cooperating with the police.
