Okagbare Targets Gold In IAAF Championships

Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare- Ighoteguonor will attempt to win long jump gold later today (Friday) at the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London. 

Okagbare who won silver in the same event in Moscow in 2013 qualified for Friday final following her 6.51 meters leap in the qualifying round.

This will be her 2nd long jump final appearance in three attempts.

She is up against Brittney Reese of the USA, Rio 2016 Olympic champion; Tianna Bartoletta and 10 other competitors.
