The Nasarawa Police Command has arrested two persons in connection to the killing of a military personnel at Unguwar Tiv in Akwanga Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officers Idrissu Kennedy confirmed the arrest of the suspects.
Furthermore, he gave the name of the military personnel as Corporal Ayuba Ali, explaining that the incident occurred after he returned home from special duty in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
A fracas was said to have ensued between the late officer and the suspects who beat him mercilessly and he later passed away at Our Lady of Apostle hospital in Akwanga.
The PPRO stated that the command has commenced further investigations on the case.
