The Enugu State Government has resumed talks with the Chinese Government on ways to fine-tune its relations and make the state the regional hub for business.
The Chinese ambassador to Nigeria Pingjian Zhou who visited the state expressed the desire to firm up the relationship with the state and seek possible ways of partnership.
On his part, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi expressed optimism that the presence of the international and free passenger cargo in the state, as well as already established laws, would be beneficial to both governments as they do business.
He further explained that the relationship will help the state realise its long dream to make Enugu the business hub of the region and a center for Chinese-manufactured goods.
