Singer and songwriter Abinye David Jumbo popularly known as Mr 2Kay has blamed zodiac signs for his failed relationship with ex-Big Brother Naija housemate Gifty.
Speaking exclusively to Entertainment News on Channels Television the artiste explained that he and gifty now have a cordial relationship devoid of romance.
“I and gifty are cool but we are not dating, we are better in our different zones. Some loves are better not in relationship but friendship, we are not an item.”
The artiste revealed his high regard for astrology and advised that adequate knowledge of a potential partner’s zodiac sign and its attributes should be acquired before the beginning of a serious relationship.
“Zodiac signs are very important for us to know, if your zodiac signs don’t really match then it doesn’t really match because some people are not matched, they are just wasting their time with each other, ” he said.
His relationship with Gifty was still going strong when she was a BBN housemate, but it seems the differences between their signs have caught up with them.
Mr 2Kay who is signed under Grafton Entertainment Record label started his music career in Port Harcourt and his break out single from Port Harcourt was ‘Waterside Boy’ but he didn’t get international recognition till 2012 when he released ‘Bubugaga’.
The talented act has gone home with several awards including Next Rated for PNA Youth Award in 2014, Artiste Of The Year for Niger Delta Advancement Awards in 2015, Best Collabo of The Year ‘Bad Girl Special Remix’ for Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2015.
