Nigeria’s quest to win back-to-back AfroBasket titles continues today (Thursday) when the defending champions, Nigeria’s D’Tigers take on Cameroon in the quarter-finals in Tunisia.

Both teams reached the quarter-finals with a similar 2-1 record in the group stage with Nigeria losing its last game against DR Congo while Cameroon won against Rwanda.

They have also met on four previous occasions with two wins apiece, although Nigeria prevailed in the last duel at the FIBA AfroBasket in 2013.

If D’Tigers beat Cameroon, they will face the winners of the Senegal vs Angola tie in the semi-finals.
