The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris has applauded communities, towns, and villages along the Abuja-Kaduna highway for their support and for providing timely and useful information to police personnel deployed to the area.
Speaking in Jere, an outskirt of Kaduna State while parading 13 suspected kidnappers, the police public relations officer, CSP Jimoh Moshood, who spoke on behalf of the IGP said this timely and useful information, aided the security operatives in their operations.
During the parade, Moshood warned criminal elements operating along the highway to deploy their energy to fruitful and legitimate ventures instead of indulging in criminal acts.
He also expressed the renewed commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to reduce crime and criminal activities in the country, stating that it is unwavering.
