The PGA Tour has announced that Kentucky native Justin Thomas has been named the 2017 PGA Tour ‘Player Of The Year’ as voted on by the Tour’s membership for the 2016-17 season.

Thomas won his first major, the PGA championship at quail hollow in North Carolina as well as four other wins on the PGA Tour this past season.

He joins tiger woods, Jordan Spieth and Jack Nicklaus as the only players to win five times including a major before the age of 25 since 1960.
