Nigeria’s Super Eagles have moved up three places in the latest ranking of football playing nations by FIFA and now occupy 41st position but remain in the fifth best team on the continent.

Carthage Eagles of Tunisia are Africa’s best team followed by Egypt, Senegal and Congo DR in the top five.

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Morocco, Ghana, Burkina Faso, and Cote D’Ivoire make up the top ten on the continent.

Germany remains the world best football playing nation, they are followed by Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium, Poland who also retained their position in the top six.

France are in the seventh position while Spain, Chile, and Peru make up the top ten.
